RATES:-  As we like to offer Competitive Rates to our clients we ask that you contact our Offices for Specials and Discounts on Offer.          

When you are quoted a Bare Boat rate this means that fuel and outboard oil is provided for the charter but is to be paid by the clients at the end of their trip direct to the fuel jetty and in US dollars cash.

1 x Captain, 1 x Cook and 1 x Deckhand.

The crew have their own private ablutions.
Tender Boats

There are two pontoon style tender boats provided for Fishing and Game viewing.  They are both powered by 15h.p. motors and each seats 8 pax – one has roof whilst the other is open.  Please note that only the crew of Zambuka are permitted to drive these boats.

Accommodation

Lower Deck Hosts:

  • 2 x double air-conditioned cabins (twin beds pushed together) with sliding doors and mosquito screen sliding doors facing the Lake.
  • 2 x twin air-conditioned cabins (2 x single beds) with sliding doors and mosquito screen sliding doors facing the Lake
  • All the cabins are air-conditioned and have wall mounted fans. Please note that the air-con units run from 10p.m. through to 6a.m.
  • Two separate bathrooms with shower, hand basin and toilet
  • Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove/oven, fridges, cooler boxes and freezer.
  • Mini ice-maker (cubes for drinks).
  • Swimming cage off the Bermuda Deck
  • Wood braai facility available

Upper Deck Hosts:

  • The top deck is partially shaded with a large covered dining and bar area.  There is a large fan on the bar which blows across the bar and dining area.
  • Comfortable garden type furniture
  • Secure railings makes this boat child-friendly – however children are to be watched at all times.
  • Extra mattresses and mosquito nets provided for those wanting to sleep “under the stars”.
  • Splash pool and sun deck with sun loungers.  There is a shade awning for the pool.
  • CD music system which is compatible to Smart Phones/USB port/1 RCA pre-out AUX in – guests to provide their own music.
  • Crayfish trap provided
Mooring Harbour CMED Andora Harbour, Kariba
Car Park Charges

US$ 5-00 per vehicle per night payable by guests on arrival at the harbour direct.

Boarding Time 12 Noon onwards – unless arranged otherwise
Disembarking Time 09:00a.m. – unless arranged otherwise.
Cleaning Materials such as dishwashing liquid, bin bags, toilet rolls, air-freshener, dish cloths, etc., are not provided and are for the guests to please supply.

Catering, drinks, ice, bait and fishing rod hire can all be organised separately through us – please contact our office for prices.

All Visitors travelling on Lake Kariba are required to pay a Lake Entry Fee and to purchase Fishing Permits.  This is done so direct at the harbour to the Parks Officer on duty and the current fees being charged are as follows:

Lake Entry

US$ 3-00 per Zimbabwe resident per day

US$ 6-00 per Regional resident per day

US$ 8-00 per International resident per day

Fishing Permits

US$ 5-00 per Zimbabwe resident fishing per day

US$10-00 per non-Zimbabwe resident fishing per day
Children under the age of 10 years pay half price on the above fees.  On occasion the Parks Officers request proof of Nationality so please ensure you have your ID book/Passport with you when paying these fees.

Please note that whilst every effort is made to maintain engines, generators, air-conditioning units etc, on occasion breakdowns do occur and Azure Cruises cannot be held responsible for any such breakdowns or defaults.
